Crack Magazine and MUBI present Underscore: Music events inspired by film. Underscore’s inaugural edition is an immersive event exploring the world of Andrea Arnold’s Bird – a tender and surprising coming-of-age fable. Carlos O’Connell of Fontaines D.C. will join us for an exclusive DJ set. Carlos will be joined by Space Afrika, the Manchester duo whose touches of industrial field recordings and inner-city texture echo the character of the film.

Eddie made an indelible mark in popular music as half of the duo Charles & Eddie, whose 1992 single “Would I Lie to You” was a number one hit heard around the world. He returned to music in 2020, and is back with his third solo record, Lay Low, released on Stones Throw and produced by Nick Hakim.
