Cult hero, chaos merchant, squat party conductor—Deijuvhs (pronounced ‘dayj-yoo vee-aitch-ess’) is leading a wild new underground movement of punks, rappers, nerds, and ravers kicking out at the world. Cutting his teeth in DIY moshpits and frenzied studio sessions, he’s now at the eye of a creative storm—and he’s in control.

An MC, singer, bandleader, and ringleader, Deijuvhs pulls from a post-internet mix of influences. Across blistering mixtapes (Forever Hoodpunk, Flower Ghoul, Perpetual States of Boredom), his sound ricochets from grunge to dancehall to hair metal solos—sometimes all in one track, like 2020’s ‘Infinity Pipe.’

Growing up in Leyton, London, he absorbed his mum’s R&B, his dad’s jungle, and the emo-metal of Kerrang! TV. At 15, he picked up a guitar, bashing out noisy, DIY punk in basements. “I’m a hoodpunk,” he says. “I had to make up something that made sense for me.”

With no scene to slot into, he built his own—launching underground festivals like HoodStock, which funds young artists. His latest project, Cemetery Scum (early ’25), channels this movement, blending his vast sonic appetite with the cinematic aesthetics of Blade, The Matrix, and Queen of the Damned.
