Boundary breaking nightlife platform BOUDICA will host an evening of workshops for women, non-binary and trans+ beginners who want to take up the art of DJing. 

Two 2-hour workshops aimed at beginners from marginalised communities to learn practical skills and music theory within the realm of DJing. The workshops will focus on the basics of key DJ techniques, demonstrated by industry experts. The first workshop between 5 - 7pm will be led by Tash LC, and the following from 7 - 9pm by Samantha Togni. 

Topics covered will include:
Introduction to music theory (Beat / Bar / Pattern and song structures)
EQ Pots and Faders
Beat-matching
Transition and effects
No experience required!
BOUDICA is a platform, record label, and event series dedicated to amplifying women, trans+, and non-binary artists in electronic music. Founded in 2019, they create inclusive spaces and provide tangible opportunities for marginalised artists through groundbreaking events, workshops, and conferences.
