THE THE are thrilled to return for a double-bill screening of The Comeback Special and their notorious, lost film From Dusk ’Til Dawn, both directed by long-time collaborator and music video legend Tim Pope.
From Dusk ’Til Dawn was filmed in 1993 across New Orleans, New York City and London, and has never before been screened in a cinema. Featuring Matt Johnson, Johnny Marr, JG Thirlwell, Quentin Crisp, Annie Sprinkle, Micky D, Curtis Sliwa, Rick Savage and many others.
The Comeback Special documents THE THE’s triumphant return to the Royal Albert Hall during their 2018 world tour. Tim Pope’s beautifully shot, unobtrusive film of this concert documents the first of a trio of London shows during The Comeback Special tour – the others taking place at Brixton Academy and The Troxy – all of which sold out within minutes of going on sale.
This event includes a live conversation with Matt Johnson and Tim Pope.
